Install on a plain HTML website

For a hand-built website, add the line to every HTML page, or to the shared footer or template that every page uses.

Steps

  1. In your AskAI dashboard, open Install on your website and copy your script line. It already contains your own site key.
  2. Open each page (or your shared footer / template) in your editor.
  3. Paste the line just before </body>.
  4. Upload the changed files to your web host.
  5. Open your website and check that the AskAI button appears.
  6. Back in your dashboard, press Check installation. When it says the line was found, the assistant starts learning your website.

Content Security Policy

If your site sends a Content-Security-Policy header, it has to allow our script and the chat frame. Contact support and we will tell you exactly which addresses to allow.
